Essential Phone gets Android P Beta 1 update

Essential has started rolling out a new update to its PH-1smartphone. The update brings along Android P beta to the device. As for included changes, there's latest Android P code integration, improved adaptive brightness range, various stability fixes and June security patches.
Up until now, Android P on Essential Phone was in Developer Preview (DP), so this marks the first beta build of the newest Android OS for the PH-1. The update arrives as build version PPR1.180510.022. As it currently stands, you need to have the DP build on your unit to get the OTA.
