Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) receives WiFi certification
05 JUNE 2018

After receiving Bluetooth certification, the Samsung SM-T595 - which is likely the successor to the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) - has now been spotted on the website of WiFi Alliance.

As is usually the case, the WiFi certification doesn't reveal much about the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2018) except that it's powered by Android 8.1 OS. These back to back certifications strongly indicate the handset will be made official soon.
Meanwhile, in a separate Samsung-related news, the Galaxy A3 (2017) has started receiving the June security patch (A320FLXXU2CRE3), making it the first Samsung smartphone to get the update. There's currently no info on what other major changes (if any) are included.
